SWG Legends turns 10 with Days of the Aned-Kla festival starting Feb. 23

Star Wars Galaxies fan server SWG Legends is hitting its 10-year mark this month, and it’s marking the occasion with its anniversary festival, Days of the Aned-Kla. The event kicks off Monday, February 23, and runs through March 9, with the actual anniversary landing on February 26.

Days of the Aned-Kla is set to become a biennial event going forward, rather than something that returns every year. When it’s up, though, it brings back its usual Tatooine-focused questing. The team also says Mos Eisley is getting a small refresh aimed at highlighting Legends-specific accomplishments.

There are a few practical reasons to log in during the window. Anniversary dispensers will hand out free Star Wars paintings made by community crafters, and players will be able to head back to Tansarii Point Station, the old tutorial zone, to wrap up quests they may have skipped.

For anyone leveling or working on professions, there’s also a limited-time boost: a “double everything” period runs from February 26 to March 2, covering all types of experience gains.

Beyond the usual quests and rewards, the festival includes new items and collections, plus a new ITV (programmable teleport vehicle). The server’s team also says more anniversary-related content drops are planned throughout the year, including a Destruction of Restuss event this summer where PvP will play a bigger role in determining the outcome.

More background on the festival can be found on the Days of the Aned-Kla wiki page.
