StoneHold, Little Orbit’s deck-building MOBA, is now in open beta on Steam

Little Orbit has kicked off an open beta for StoneHold, its 5v5 action MOBA with a deck-building twist. It’s live now on Steam, and the studio says the beta includes full matches and the game’s current content.

StoneHold was first shown last November, and its hook is mixing third-person MOBA fighting with collectible cards. You pick a “Warden,” build a deck, then draw cards during a match by taking down turrets and enemies. Back at base, you can swap cards and skills to adjust your loadout mid-game.

Little Orbit describes it as free-to-play, though the Steam post doesn’t lay out monetization details beyond that. If you want the studio’s rundown of what’s in the beta and how the card system works, it’s in the Steam announcement.

Separately, Little Orbit also addressed players of its older MMO shooter APB Reloaded, saying they haven’t been forgotten while the team pushes the StoneHold demo and open beta. That message came via a post from the studio’s Matt Scott, who added that “some love” is on the way for APB fans.
