Sea of Thieves Lines Up Last Ship Standing, Bilge Rats Weekender, and a Smaller Install Size in November
Sea of Thieves has laid out its November 2026 schedule, with a mix of limited-time events, Twitch Drops, a Black Friday Pirate Emporium sale, and a game update on November 19 that will require a full redownload.
The upside to that redownload is storage space. Rare says the November update improves file compression, so Sea of Thieves should take up less room on players’ devices once it’s installed again.
- Last Ship Standing: Sloops runs November 3 to November 10, sending solo and duo Sloop crews into six-ship Hourglass free-for-alls in the Sea of the Damned. Rewards include Faction progress, Doubloons, and exclusive cosmetics.
- Twitch Drops run November 6 to November 11 through Sea of Thieves Partner and Affiliate Alliance streams. Players with linked accounts can earn gold, Renown, cosmetics, and the new Hidden Treasures Hat after six hours of viewing.
- The Bilge Rats Weekender runs November 13 to November 16, bringing Challenges, fireworks, Doubloons, and the return of Festival of Fishing. Players can raise a Hunter’s Call Emissary Flag during the event.
- The November 19 game update adds more quality-of-life changes and Custom Seas improvements, including Free Camera tweaks and more Spawn Menu items.
- Old Boot Fort returns as a Legendary Location, and the Orchid’s Sting set arrives in the Pirate Emporium.
- Renown Rally runs November 20 to November 23, giving players a faster way to climb the Season 21 pass before it ends in December.
- The Pirate Emporium Black Friday sale runs November 25 to December 2, with discounts up to 50% on most items, including cosmetics from A Pirate’s Life and The Legend of Monkey Island. The Golden Skull Sails will also return for the sale window.
Weekly events continue through the month too. Emissaries of Fortune will be active every Wednesday from 10am to 10am UTC, boosting rewards for crews sailing under a Trading Company Emissary Flag. Fight Nights return on Tuesdays outside the Last Ship Standing week, increasing rewards from Faction Battles.
It’s mostly a live-event month rather than a major content drop, but the reduced install size could be the most practical change for anyone keeping Sea of Thieves installed long-term.
