RuneScape: Dragonwilds adds a new quest, reworks Runecrafting, and cuts teleport costs in May update

RuneScape: Dragonwilds (Workbench style survival game by Jagex) got its May 0.11.2 early access update today, bringing a handful of practical changes rather than a huge content drop. The biggest additions are a new quest in Stormtouched Highlands, a rework for Runecrafting, and cheaper teleporting, with costs reduced by roughly half across the game.

This doesn’t sound like the game’s major early access milestone, and that’s because it isn’t. The bigger update is still planned for next month. For now, this patch looks more like a cleanup-and-improvements pass aimed at making day-to-day play a little smoother.

The new quest gives players one more reason to head into Stormtouched Highlands, while the Runecrafting changes are probably the headline item for anyone already deep into the survival loop. The update also improves clarity for some parts of the game, though the source doesn’t go into much detail on every tweak.

Teleport cost cuts should be the most immediately noticeable change for most players. In a survival game where moving around the map can become a routine part of gathering, crafting, and questing, lowering that cost is the kind of adjustment that can make the whole thing feel less tedious without changing the core structure.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds is Jagex’s survival take on the RuneScape universe, and it’s still in early access, so smaller patches like this are likely to keep filling the gaps between larger content updates. This one seems squarely focused on usability and progression, with the bigger shake-up still to come next month.
