PSO2: New Genesis adds two limited-time quests in the second half of March

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis has rolled out the second half of its March update, bringing in two limited-time quests and a fresh Mission Pass season. According to the official post, the new batch of content is live now.

The headline additions are Scorching Fortress Clean-Up, an eight-player limited-time quest set at Dext Base, and the return of Shadow of the Fallen Star, a progressive quest that sends players through a crimson Retem area. If you’ve been keeping up with NGS’s monthly cadence, this is the back half of the game’s usual March content drop.

Outside the quests, Sega has started the next Mission Pass season with another round of cosmetic rewards. There’s also a new set of cafe- and maid-themed AC scratches, with two more scratch releases scheduled for March 21 and March 24 to round out the month.

Sega is also running a player survey and offering 50 Star Gems for filling it out. The post doesn’t say much beyond that, but it’s a straightforward bonus if you’re already playing and want to weigh in on the game.

New Genesis is the current live-service version of PSO2, mixing fast action combat with regular rotating events, scratches, and short-term quests. This update mostly sticks to that formula, with the limited-time activities doing the heavy lifting for the rest of March.
