Pantheon Team Details Port of Rulun Work and New Development Tools

Visionary Realms has shared another development update for Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen, this time focusing on world-building work for upcoming areas and a few internal tools meant to speed up production.

According to the official post, the team is continuing work on the Port of Rulun, a location tied to the upcoming Badia de Cara content. The area is getting more NPC flavor, including dialogue trees and background conversations players can overhear while moving through the port.

Similar work has started for Detihauna, while Faerthale is getting more environmental dressing. That includes rocks, trees, props, and NPCs meant to make the zone feel more specific to the people and creatures living there. These additions aren’t playable on the PTR yet, but they’re part of the build-up toward future testing.

The studio also says it’s testing a new tool for building abilities and masteries more quickly. Another tool is being worked on to help speed up animation creation, alongside new animations for NPC and player interactions.

Itemization is still in progress too, especially weapons. Visionary Realms is also working on player model updates connected to the new armor system, plus NPC pathfinding and responsiveness.

One current snag: the team has found a bug affecting a number of class abilities and masteries. The post doesn’t give a timeline for the next PTR update, but the issue sounds like something that needs sorting before some of this larger update can move forward.
