Pantheon details how its combat overhaul will change the Warrior
Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen developer Visionary Realms has shared a closer look at how the game’s upcoming combat and progression update will affect the Warrior. The new class breakdown follows earlier previews of broader system changes, including attributes and damage mitigation, and gives players a better idea of what the rework will actually look like in moment-to-moment play.
According to the official post, the studio isn’t rebuilding the class from scratch. The goal is to make classes feel more complete across the full level range from 1 to 50, while keeping familiar parts of their identity intact.
For Warriors, that means a larger set of abilities with more noticeable impact, plus mastery paths that split more clearly between defensive and offensive roles. The post also goes into sample passives for two mastery trees and outlines how the class toolkit is being expanded as part of the wider combat pass.
Most of the details are still framed as work in progress, so some of this could change before the update goes live. Visionary Realms also said this Warrior post is the start of a broader series, with class-specific previews for the Dire Lord and Paladin planned next.
Pantheon remains in development, and Visionary Realms hasn’t attached a release date to this combat overhaul yet. For now, Warrior players at least have a clearer picture of where the class is headed.
