Palia’s Luna New Year update lands February 3, with Path of the Shred and new event rewards

Palia’s next update, Winter’s Wonder: Riffrocin’ New Year, arrives on February 3 and kicks off Luna New Year at the Fairgrounds. Along with themed items and decor, the patch adds a new Lunar Path called Path of the Shred and a fresh community event, Reth’s Soup-erb Bowl.

On top of that, the community has already cleared all milestones for Hodari’s Starstone Search. Hitting the 300,000 Starstone mark means everyone can claim all of the event’s originally announced rewards, as long as they log in before February 4.

The Starstone event is also feeding into a new cosmetic choice: a Discord poll is now open through February 11 to decide which Starstone will inspire a new Tint. Players can vote for multiple stones, and whichever gets the most votes will be turned into a tint.

For Luna New Year, the update brings in themed rewards like Soji screens, a Riffroc plush, nameplates, and additional tints. There’s also a new themed bundle coming to the Bulletin Board. If you still have unfinished tasks on the current Bulletin Board, you’ll want to wrap those up before the patch, since it’s set to close and disappear when the update goes live. The current board’s items are expected to return later, but not right away.

The premium store is also getting a refresh with new cosmetics, including Elite Equestrian, Gardener, and Mountaineer outfits, plus Year of the Riffroc gear. The patch will also add a new Ranching animal, the Roli, alongside a new Roli pet for the premium shop.
