Palia’s Frog of July Event Has Players Baking Crabs for Community Rewards

Palia has kicked off a new Frog of July community event, and yes, it’s about baking crabs. The limited-time event follows The World Claw, a Team Crab versus Team Frog competition where players captured members of the opposing side.

Team Crab apparently won that round, so the frogs are getting payback in the form of a massive Crab Bake. Players are being asked to cook as many Crab Dishes as possible, with community rewards tied to shared milestones.

The listed goals include rewards at 500,000 and 1,000,000 Crab Dishes baked. A Crab Lure is also tied to the final community reward, though the exact final milestone is unclear from the source text. Daily rewards are also available through July 6.

Crabs shouldn’t be too hard to find right now. The recent Bahari Bliss update added the Crab Wars dynamic event, which runs each in-game day at 7:00 a.m. That gives players a regular way to gather the ingredients needed for the bake.

Palia’s next update, Amberlight Affair, is set to arrive after this event wraps. That one is expected to add a new Lunar Pass, another ranching creature, a teleport feature, and another community event.
