Palia kicks off Hodari’s Starstone Search community mining event through January 26

Palia has started a limited-time community event called Hodari’s Starstone Search, asking players to mine Starstones and push a shared total across all platforms. The event runs until January 26 at 3:00 p.m. Pacific, and rewards are tied to how many Starstones the entire playerbase collects together.

Palia is a cozy life sim with MMO-style shared spaces, where gathering and crafting are core to progression. Community-wide events like this lean into the game’s social design, giving players a reason to hop into resource routes together, while still letting solo players contribute at their own pace.

Event details: Everyone’s Starstone mining counts toward the same global goal, with four reward milestones that unlock items for all players if the community reaches them before the deadline.

• How it works: Mine eligible Starstones and contribute to a shared community total (solo or in groups)
• Milestone 1 (50,000 Starstones): 5x Ore Compass, 500 Lucky Envelopes, Star Quality Garnet
• Milestone 2 (100,000 Starstones): 5x Mining Mystery Bag, 5x Pallium Bar, Star Quality Citrine
• Milestone 3 (200,000 Starstones): 1x Super Lucky Prize, 1,000 Lucky Envelopes, Star Quality Sapphire
• Milestone 4 (300,000 Starstones): Community vote for a new Starstone-themed tint, Star Quality Amethyst, 3x Starstone Mystery Bag, 2x Stackable Muujin Pillow
• Reward delivery: If milestones are met, rewards are scheduled to start arriving via in-game inbox beginning January 28
