Old School RuneScape details Leagues VI ahead of its April 15 start

Jagex has put out a new developer diary for Old School RuneScape’s next limited-time Leagues event, Leagues VI: Demonic Pacts, which starts April 15.

According to the developer diary, this season brings back the usual Leagues setup: separate worlds, fresh characters, and boosted XP rates. The big new hook this time is a demonic pacts skill tree, which lets players lean into different combat styles as they progress.

Jagex also confirmed that Echo Bosses are returning, along with their unique drops. That should be familiar territory for past Leagues players, while the new pact system looks like the main mechanical change for this run.

For anyone who hasn’t touched Leagues before, it’s Old School RuneScape’s faster, more condensed side mode. You start over on temporary servers and work through accelerated progression with special modifiers that don’t apply to the main game.

Old School RuneScape is currently available on PC, Steam, iOS, and Android, with cross-platform play and progression between PC and mobile.
