New MMORPG Hollowed Oath revealed with 16 classes and three-class builds
God Mode Games has announced Hollowed Oath, a new fantasy MMORPG set in a post-apocalyptic world abandoned by its gods. The game is still early, with the studio saying it’s currently working toward a pre-alpha build.
Heads up, this one looks extremely early stage and the company behind it doesn’t have much information available on their funding or the team behind the game.
According to the official site, the big hook so far is its class system. Hollowed Oath will feature 16 classes, and players will build their character by combining three of them. Some of the named options include Golemancer, Lorekeeper, Illusionist, Runesinger, and Gravebinder.
The studio is also pitching the game as more approachable for players who don’t want a huge time commitment. Its “Journey” system is meant to get players into dungeons or events quickly, while loot is said to drop with your class in mind. Crafting is also a major focus.
There isn’t much else confirmed yet beyond that early feature outline and a batch of screenshots. No release window, platform list, or business model was included in the announcement, so for now this one’s very much at the early reveal stage.
If you’re curious, the classes page has a closer look at the game’s class lineup and multiclass setup.
