Neverness to Everness devs outline fixes after the co-op test wraps up

Neverness to Everness is about to wrap up its multiplayer “Co-Ex Test,” and Hotta Studio says it’s already sorting through early feedback and bug reports. In a developer letter posted on X, the team called out a few specific areas it plans to clean up next. For those that haven’t heard about this one, it’s a high budget Chinese developed mobile MMO with a large open world.

On the list: making some of the game’s social activities feel better, including fishing and mahjong. The studio also says it’s working on driving controls, plus “awkward translations and text presentation” that came up during the test. Beyond that, it’s the usual post-test triage: bugs, performance issues, and general stability.

The Co-Ex Test ends in “a couple of days,” per the studio’s earlier note about the test wrapping up. After that, Hotta says it’ll share a development roadmap and start previewing upcoming characters and story content, though it didn’t attach dates to any of those teases.

For now, if you’ve been in the test and felt like parts of the experience were rough around the edges, the devs are at least acknowledging the same problem areas and saying they’re next in line.
