Mortal Online 2’s Sarducaa Continent Launches July 1 With Housing Upkeep Changes
Star Vault is bringing Mortal Online 2’s new continent, Sarducaa, to the live game on Wednesday, July 1. The studio hasn’t given an exact launch time yet, but the expansion is now just days away after a round of public testing.
Sarducaa is a bigger deal than a simple map addition. It also marks the arrival of a North American server, and players heading there won’t be bringing over established characters right away. Everyone will need to start fresh on a new character before eventually making the trip to the new continent.
According to the official blog post, Star Vault is also changing housing upkeep alongside the Sarducaa launch. The goal is to cut down on players holding too many houses indefinitely. One key change is that other players will no longer be able to help pay upkeep on a house, so inactive accounts may have a harder time keeping property maintained.
Sarducaa has already been on the Public Test Realm, where players also saw lockpicking and other changes in testing. Star Vault hasn’t clearly said whether every PTR feature will arrive with the live Sarducaa update, so players should wait for final patch notes before assuming the full test build is coming over.
