Mortal Online 2 Opens Patch 3.1.0 PTR With New Sarducaa Mounts
Mortal Online 2’s Patch 3.1.0 Public Test Realm opens today, giving players an early look at a batch of Sarducaa-focused changes before they hit the live game.
The big one is mounts. Almost all of the newer creatures found on Sarducaa can now be ridden, including Ratzar variants, Akreps, Danaburnus, Stone Lizards, Crocodiles, Platybelodons, Campodons, Gemsboks, Springboks, Ibex, and Urials. Star Vault has also added craftable bags for the newly mountable creatures.
The PTR also introduces Bufonids, a new Sarducaa creature type, along with craftable Bufonid Skin. For testing, vendors outside Beth Jedda, Pash, Belrim, and Aur are selling the new material. The required experience to reach level 100 has also been heavily lowered on the test realm, and lore skills can be learned through action during testing.
- Molvas can now carry one passenger while being ridden.
- Campodons and Platybelodons now support one rider and four passengers.
- Mining, woodcutting, and gathering are now affected by Loot Luck and Loot Amount.
- A new per-continent queue system kicks in when a continent reaches max capacity.
- The in-game support system now has GM claim notifications, petition ratings, and better persistence between sessions.
- The engine has been upgraded to 5.8.1, while FSR has been updated to 4.1.1.
The patch also adds a new analytics system meant to track player activity and help the team spot balance issues and low-FPS areas. On the bug-fix side, the notes mention fixes for lockpicking while mounted, broker buy-button problems, and some boss reset issues.
Players who want to test the patch can opt in through Steam by right-clicking Mortal Online 2, opening Properties, going to Game Versions and Betas, and selecting the Mortal Online Public Test Realm branch.
