LORDNINE Update Adds Avatar Awakening, Void Neva Boss, and Chuseok Events

Smilegate rolled out a new LORDNINE update on September 16, adding Avatar Awakening, a new world boss called Void Neva, balance changes for weapons and classes, and several Chuseok-themed events.

The biggest progression change is Avatar Awakening, which applies to Heroic-grade or higher avatars. Players can use same-grade or identical avatars as materials to fill three awakening points, then awaken the avatar without spending extra currency. Awakening boosts stats, collection effects, and bond effects, with some avatar grades also getting a special appearance.

  • Void Neva has been added as a new world boss, with possible drops including Mythic-grade weapons and armor, High-grade Dragon Dice, saddles, and other rewards.
  • Smilegate says field spawn schedules for the boss will be shared later in a separate notice.
  • Weapon Mastery and Ability balance has been adjusted, with buffs aimed at multiple Weapon Masteries, physical-type classes, and related Abilities.
  • The Moonlight Garden Chuseok dungeon runs through October 7 and lets players craft Fresh Fruit Piles into Bountiful Fresh Fruit Baskets for mount awakening materials, or Rabbit Songpyeon for summon tickets.
  • The Moonlit Chuseok Special Check-in runs through October 21, offering Gold Pouch Boxes, Avatar Summon Tickets, and Magic Avatar Summon Tickets on days 7, 14, and 21.
  • A Moonlit Chuseok Push Event is planned for September 23 through September 30, with an Amethyst Avatar Summon Ticket available on September 25.

The update also adds the White Rabbit Hang-ah Chuseok avatar skin. Between the new awakening system and the limited-time event rewards, this patch is mostly focused on character growth and seasonal farming rather than new story content.
