KRAFTON says PUBG drove record Q1 2026 revenue, with Subnautica 2 still on deck for Early Access
KRAFTON has reported record results for the first quarter of 2026, with revenue hitting KRW 1.3714 trillion and operating profit reaching KRW 561.6 billion. That’s up 56.9% and 22.8% year-over-year, respectively, according to the company’s official announcement.
The biggest driver was PUBG. KRAFTON said revenue tied to the PUBG franchise rose 24% year-over-year and topped KRW 1 trillion for the quarter. On PC, PUBG: Battlegrounds got a boost from ongoing live-service content and its ninth anniversary event. On mobile, the company pointed to premium items, brand collaborations, and continued growth for Battlegrounds Mobile India, where paying users were up 17% from a year earlier.
By segment, KRAFTON reported KRW 363.9 billion from PC, KRW 702.7 billion from mobile, KRW 13.8 billion from console, and KRW 291.0 billion from “other” revenue. The company said that last category was helped in large part by the consolidated inclusion of ADK Group.
There were also a few game-specific updates buried in the earnings report. KRAFTON said PUBG’s new Xeno Point mode, added in April, increased user traffic by offering something outside the usual battle royale format. It also said a PAYDAY mode is planned for May, with more modes and user-generated content tools to follow.
Outside PUBG, KRAFTON reiterated its plans for inZOI and Subnautica 2. The publisher said inZOI, which launched in Early Access in March 2025, is still being expanded with more content, a console version, AI-assisted script modding tools, and a multiplayer feature meant to support user-generated content sharing.
Subnautica 2 is still expected to launch in Early Access, though the report didn’t give a date. KRAFTON also said the game will include new content such as co-op.
The company also continues to push its in-house game AI efforts. That includes a beta version of the “PUBG Ally” co-playable character planned for PUBG: Battlegrounds Arcade later this year.
