Kakao financial report pushes Chrono Odyssey to Q1 2027, ArcheAge Chronicles to Q4 2026
Kakao Games’ latest financial report quietly moved two of its bigger upcoming MMORPGs again. Chrono Odyssey is now listed for Q1 2027, while ArcheAge Chronicles slid from Q3 2026 to Q4 2026.
The timing updates show up in Kakao’s Q4 2025 report materials, which the company posted as a financial report PDF. There’s not much explanation attached beyond the revised windows.
Chrono Odyssey had already been sitting at Q4 2026 after the team committed to major reworks following rough playtests. This new shift to Q1 2027 looks like a relatively small bump, but it’s still another delay for a game that’s been in “fix it” mode for a while.

ArcheAge Chronicles (previously known as ArcheAge 2) has also had a stop-and-start schedule, including a title change and a clearer public direction from the developers over time. Kakao’s updated slate now puts it in Q4 2026, and the report still frames it as a multiplatform release, though the document doesn’t go into platform specifics here.
Outside of the release calendar, the same report notes Kakao’s broader FY2025 results, including lower overall revenue and profit. Kakao also points to PC revenue rising (helped by a PUBG collaboration) while mobile revenue dropped.
