FragPunk’s Farlands Mode Enters Early Access on November 5
FragPunk is adding a new multiplayer mode called Farlands on November 5, with an Early Access launch built around delivery runs, scavenging, and keeping cargo intact while traveling through dangerous territory.
The mode was confirmed as part of FragPunk’s October 22 update for Season 6, Chapter 2. Bad Guitar Studio and NetEase Games describe Farlands as a “delivery-driven” high-risk adventure where players take on orders, prepare supplies, head out with a crew, and decide how far they are willing to go.
The official trailer frames the mode around courier work in a rough open environment, with mountains, wetlands, changing seasons, wildlife, and a “magnetic cargo system” meant to keep packages attached where players place them. It also hints that animals can become stronger after eating cargo contents, so losing a package may create more problems than just a failed job.
Progression appears tied to successful deliveries. The trailer mentions getting paid, building bigger, improving gear, and expanding facilities, though the update announcement doesn’t lay out the full reward structure yet.
Farlands arrives after the Season 6 Chapter 2 Battle Pass, Wasteland Rhapsody, which went live on October 22. FragPunk is free to play on Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
