Farever passes 100,000 sales in its first week of Steam Early Access
Shiro Games says Farever has sold more than 100,000 copies in its first week of Steam Early Access. The online multiplayer action RPG launched on May 8, and the studio announced the milestone on May 14. The game is averaging over 10,000 concurrent players as of this writeup.
Farever is available now on PC through Steam for $19.99, £16.99, or 19.99€. The current Early Access build includes four starting classes, co-op-friendly content that scales to party size, and a wide mix of weapons and abilities for different builds.
Shiro also outlined what it plans to work on next during Early Access. Near-term updates are set to focus on performance, server stability, latency, the party system, and better gamepad support.
The game is set in the fantasy world of Siagarta, with players exploring different biomes while taking on quests and other challenges. Beyond that, the announcement mostly sticks to broad strokes, so it’s still not clear how long Farever will remain in Early Access or when some of those planned improvements will arrive.
Shiro Games is the studio behind Northgard, Wartales, and Dune: Spice Wars, and Farever is its latest multiplayer-focused RPG. For now, the big takeaway is simple: the game had a strong first week on Steam, and the next stretch of updates will be aimed at smoothing out the experience for current players.
