Corepunk is wiping all character progression on June 25
Corepunk players are about to lose their current characters. Developer Artificial Core has announced a full progression wipe, set for June 25, in what the studio is calling “The Great Reset.”
That means existing early access progress is going away across the board. If you’ve been leveling characters, collecting gear, or otherwise building up an account during the current test period, that progress won’t carry over past the reset.
For an early access MMO, a wipe like this isn’t unusual, especially when a game is still reworking progression and economy systems. Still, it’s a big deal for anyone actively playing right now, since it effectively puts an expiration date on all current character progress.
Corepunk is the top-down online RPG from Artificial Core, built around open-world exploration, PvE, PvP, and a fog-of-war style map. It entered early access late last year, and the game has been gradually adding and adjusting systems since then.
Artificial Core hasn’t left much room for confusion here: this is a full progression wipe, and it’s happening next month on June 25. After the Wipe, Corepunk is launching “The Depot”, the game’s first 12 player raid. Learn more by reading the official announcement.
