Conqueror’s Blade: Three Kingdoms launches as free DLC on July 24
Conqueror’s Blade: Three Kingdoms, a free DLC update built around the Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history, is set to launch on July 24. It’ll arrive alongside the game’s regular seasonal update, with players able to stick to the usual official servers or jump into a separate Three Kingdoms Scenario Server.
The DLC leans into large-scale action strategy, mixing third-person fighting with real-time army command. Players will build forces, issue orders during battles, adjust formations, and deal with battlefield conditions like terrain, morale, and changing weather. The new setting includes more than 60 historically inspired cities and passes across a version of Three Kingdoms-era China.
According to the Steam announcement, the Three Kingdoms Scenario Server will run under its own standalone rules and will only be available for a limited time. It’s meant for players who want the new campaign-style experience separated from the main server structure.
The standard servers aren’t being left out, though. Conqueror’s Blade’s seventh anniversary update will also bring Three Kingdoms units, themed events and modes, and a new map tied to Guan Yu, one of the era’s best-known figures.
Booming Tech is framing Three Kingdoms as a broader strategy-focused addition rather than just another seasonal theme. The pitch is still Conqueror’s Blade at its core: command troops, fight in sieges and open-field battles, and try to control territory in a persistent world. Players who prefer trade, crafting, logistics, or other support roles are also expected to have ways to affect the wider war.
