Camelot Unchained quietly gets a Steam Early Access page

Camelot Unchained now has a Steam Early Access page, though it seems to have gone up without much of an announcement. There doesn’t appear to have been any real push for it on the game’s social channels or Discord, but the page is live all the same.

That doesn’t mean the long-running MMORPG suddenly has a release date. The Steam page mainly confirms that City State Entertainment is preparing an Early Access launch on Valve’s platform at some point, but the source material doesn’t include timing, pricing, or a firm start window.

Camelot Unchained was originally pitched as a realm-vs-realm MMORPG with a heavy focus on large-scale PvP. It’s also been one of the more drawn-out crowdfunded MMO projects, so a Steam listing is notable mostly because it’s a concrete storefront step after years of development.

If you’re tracking the game, the immediate takeaway is simple: it’s on Steam now in Early Access form, at least at the page level. Players can wishlist it and keep an eye on the listing for whatever comes next.
