Black Desert Adds Black Spirit Scheduler and Higher Altar of Blood Stages

Black Desert’s September 9 update is live, bringing a new Black Spirit’s Scheduler tool, three higher Altar of Blood difficulties, and a round of reward and monster zone changes tied mostly to Inner Edania.

The new scheduler can be found under Menu, then Convenience. It lets players check daily and weekly quests, track various in-game schedules, and manually add custom entries. It works across the Family, though recurring quests outside of daily and weekly quests can’t be added.

  • Altar of Blood now includes the 22nd, 23rd, and 24th Illusions, with recommended AP/DP of 405/465, 410/470, and 415/475.
  • The 1st through 3rd Abyssal Illusions have been removed.
  • Inner Edania weekly quest rewards now include the Dusk of Doom Selection Box, replacing fixed Dusk of Doom item rewards for those slots.
  • Junk items from Inner Edania monster zones can now be exchanged for Divine Coins. Ten Divine Coins can be traded for a Crystal of Devouring, Crystal of Sycraia, Crystal of the Void, or a 100G Gold Bar.
  • Several Inner Edania grind spots had drop rates adjusted, including Gavinya Coastal Cliff, Temple of Aphrodon, Temple of Magaia, Temple of Aresion, and Scales of Judgment.

The patch also makes a couple of class changes. Succession Sorceress had PvP damage reduced on Prime: Dream of Doom and Prime: Abyssal Flame. Succession Valkyrie’s Succession: Absolute: Heaven’s Echo no longer applies an All Damage Reduction debuff, and now grants immunity to All Damage Reduction debuffs for 20 seconds instead.

Most of the monster zone changes are aimed at reward tuning. Some locations were removed from the top-tier monster zone list, while several Dusk of Doom accessory drop rates were shifted around. Temple of Magaia and Temple of Aresion also received spawn and encounter adjustments, including changes to Divine Shard timing and new monsters charging the Brazier.
