Apex Legends Godzilla Event Starts November 10 on Storm Point

Posted on by

Apex Legends is getting a Godzilla crossover event on November 10, with Storm Point reworked around an active Godzilla attack. The Apex Legends | Godzilla Event runs until December 1 and ties into the theatrical release of Godzilla Minus Zero, which opens this week.

The main gameplay hook is a new blast zone on Storm Point. Players can risk heading into the area before Godzilla’s Heat Ray hits to grab a Care Package containing a custom Devotion. This version fires a heat ray attack that tracks enemies after landing a hit, so expect squads to fight hard over it.

The event also adds a new Event Pass, Godzilla-themed cosmetics, Twitch Drops, and a universal melee item called the Dorsal Dagger. The dagger is inspired by Godzilla’s dorsal fins and can drop from Godzilla Event Packs, with a matching Death Box unlock also available.

  • The free Event Pass track includes badges, Crafting Metals, Event Packs, XP, tracker items, and Octane’s Jet Jaguar Epic skin.
  • The premium track adds an Epic P2020 skin, Legendary Prowler skin, two Epic Apex Packs, stickers, a banner frame, more tracker items, and Catalyst’s Ghidorah 1991 Iconic skin.
  • There are 10 new Legend skins based on Godzilla characters, including Godzilla 2026 Bloodhound, Mothra 2003 Valkyrie, Godzilla 2016 Wraith, and Mechagodzilla 1974 Pathfinder.
  • Nine Legendary weapon skins are also coming for the Devotion, Hemlock, Rampage, CAR, Havoc, Longbow, Wingman, Prowler, and Sentinel.

Twitch Drops will run from November 10 to November 17 through select Apex Legends creators. Watching 30 minutes earns the Chibi Charmzilla weapon charm, while 60 minutes unlocks the Mothra’s Milestones tracker set. Players need to link their EA and Twitch accounts, and rewards should appear in-game within 24 hours after logging in.

Apex Legends is free to play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through the EA app, Epic Games Store, and Steam.
