Aion Reforged Server Opens October 20 With Pre-Registration Live

NCSOFT has set October 20, 2026 as the launch date for Aion Reforged, a new server for the original Aion MMO. Pre-registration is open now through October 19 on the official portal, with milestone rewards planned for both new players and Aion Classic players. Those rewards are expected to become available when the server goes live.

Reforged is being pitched as a fresh Atreia server built around auto-hunt progression, field hunting, fortress battles, and item collecting. NCSOFT is also pointing to a more streamlined progression path, though the exact shape of those changes will matter more once players can actually get in and test the server economy and leveling pace.

The launch is happening alongside broader housekeeping for Aion’s existing servers. NCSOFT has also confirmed a server merge for legacy shards, with reports identifying Siel as part of the consolidation. The studio has posted migration guidance for character names and guild warehouses on its forums.

Reforged is also tied into the timing for Update 5.5. Ahead of a permanent wardrobe system for Classic and Reforged servers, the third-quarter costume rotation is scheduled to end on September 29.

This is separate from AION 2, which remains on its own early access and launch track. Reforged is for players sticking with the original game rather than jumping to the sequel.
