Z Fighters (listed as Clash of Blasts on Android) was a mobile card MMORPG for iOS and Android that echoed Dragon Ball Z imagery without being an officially licensed release. The core gameplay revolved around assembling a lineup, setting formations, and letting character abilities drive encounters as your squad battled an enemy line in largely automated fights. With little direct input during combat, the main progression loop focused on recruiting more fighters, strengthening them via upgrades and fusions, and fine-tuning equipment and skill setups to increase total power.

What helped Z Fighters differentiate itself from other mobile collectors was its sheer amount of content and unit variety. Much of your playtime happened outside battles, navigating menus to adjust gear, refine team composition, and participate in side activities that funneled resources back into advancement. Additional modes such as boss fights and small minigames mainly served to speed up growth, and for many players the hook was pursuing the next upgrade rather than executing precise, moment-to-moment tactics.
