Lineage M Overview

Lineage M is NCsoft’s attempt to bring the feel of the original Lineage MMORPG to phones and tablets, nearly two decades after the PC game helped define early MMORPG design. You start by selecting one of the series’ recognizable class choices, then progress by hunting monsters, clearing dungeons, and steadily unlocking new skills as you level. Like many mobile MMOs, it supports both hands-on play and an auto-combat option for routine grinding. The world is built to be traveled solo, but it is clearly at its best when you coordinate with a party to handle tougher areas, chase boss drops, and participate in large-scale World Raids. A standout system is Transformation, a temporary power shift that changes what your character can do for a limited window, adding an extra layer to preparation and combat pacing. Visually, the game leans into a retro-styled look that echoes older fantasy RPGs rather than going for modern realism.
