Overview

King of Avalon: Dragon Warfare Overview

King of Avalon: Dragon Warfare is a 2D mobile strategy MMO built around the familiar loop of city growth, resource management, and long-term PvP competition. Set in an Arthurian-inspired realm left leaderless after Arthur’s death, the game frames its progression around strengthening your seat of power, fielding larger armies, and outmaneuvering rival players who want the same throne.

At the center of your progression is a fortress-city that steadily expands with practical buildings such as farms and sawmills for income, military structures for training, and support facilities like hospitals to reduce losses. As your settlement grows, you unlock more ways to improve efficiency and military power, including research at the University and crafting at the Forge, both of which feed directly into your ability to win fights and survive retaliation.

The dragon system is one of the game’s signature hooks. You start with a hatchling and develop it into a high-impact tool for war, tailoring its skill choices and gear to suit how you prefer to play (more aggressive pressure, sturdier defense, or a balance of both). Heroes add another layer of progression, letting you equip crafted items and chase stat improvements that matter most in large-scale conflicts.

Most of the meaningful action happens through alliances. Coordinated groups can reinforce each other, share information, and participate in large rallies against tougher targets. Scouting and troop composition also play a major role, since unit types (ranged, infantry, cavalry, siege) are designed to counter each other, rewarding players who plan rather than simply throw numbers at a problem. For anyone who likes persistent-world rivalry and kingdom politics, King of Avalon is clearly built to keep you online and involved.

King of Avalon: Dragon Warfare Key Features:

  • Worldwide conflict zones – contest high-value locations near the heart of each kingdom, pressure enemy strongholds, and reinforce alliance members when they come under attack.
  • Dragon growth and specialization – raise a dragon from hatchling to war asset, then shape its toolkit with skills and gear that support offense or defense.
  • Crafting at the Forge – produce equipment and outfit your hero with weapons and armor that improve key combat and development stats.
  • Alliance-driven warfare – team up with other players to coordinate rallies, climb leaderboards, and compete for control as a unified force.
  • Multiple troop categories – train archers, infantry, cavalry, and siege units, then leverage their matchups to gain an edge in battles.
