Imperial Hero 2 Overview
Imperial Hero 2 is a turn-based RPG on Android and in browsers where your long-term goal is to rise above other adventurers and earn recognition as the Empire’s top hero. Progress is built around leveling, distributing attribute points, and selecting skills that steer your build toward the style you prefer. Companions (recruited mercenaries) add another layer to party strength, letting you shore up weaknesses or push harder into a specific strategy.
As you advance, the game opens additional specialization, after reaching level 15 you can further shape your character by choosing a warrior or ranger path. On the larger scale, you align with one of three player factions competing for territorial control. Contributing to faction efforts is not only about pride, it is also a reliable way to chase rewards through ongoing conflict and conquest.
Outside of fighting, Imperial Hero 2 leans heavily into production and trade. Crafting is tied closely to professions, and it can be one of the most consistent ways to build wealth. You select one primary profession and one secondary profession, then use gathered materials to create equipment and goods that can be sold to other players. Competitive players can test themselves through tournaments (unlocked at level 15), while guilds provide longer-term group goals and guild-versus-guild competition (available from level 10). Many actions, like travel between locations and certain gathering steps, run on real-time timers, and premium currency can be used to skip waiting.
Imperial Hero 2 Key Features:
- Profession system – Crafting is supported by 3 main professions (weaponsmith, armorsmith and jeweller) plus 4 secondary options (miner, tanner, stonecutter and carpenter). You pick one of each, and that choice shapes what you can reliably produce.
- Player factions – Three factions compete over territories. Taking part in faction fights helps your side expand control and can provide rewards for active contributors.
- PVP and guild battles – Guilds become available at level 10 and provide structured competition against other guilds, while tournaments open at level 15 for more direct player-versus-player challenges.
- Companion system – Mercenaries can be recruited to support you in battles, adding depth to team composition and progression.

Imperial Hero 2 Review
Imperial Hero 2 is designed for players who enjoy steady, menu-driven progression and the satisfaction of optimizing builds over time. It is not an action RPG, and it does not try to be, the core loop revolves around planning: spending stamina wisely, choosing which tasks to queue, deciding when to invest in crafting versus combat, and picking the right moments to engage in faction or PvP content. If you like checking in regularly, making a few meaningful decisions, and watching your character’s numbers climb, the format makes sense.
Character development is the strongest part of the experience. Attributes and skills give you real control over how your hero performs, and the level 15 choice between warrior and ranger adds an extra identity layer. The companion system is also useful rather than decorative, mercenaries can help smooth difficulty spikes and provide a reason to keep improving equipment and resources. That said, the combat presentation can feel distant. While it is turn-based, the actual fighting often plays out in an automated way, which reduces the feeling of personal execution and makes victories feel more like the result of preparation than moment-to-moment decisions.
Where the game differentiates itself from many lightweight browser RPGs is the economy and production side. Crafting and professions are not just side activities, they are a major pathway to wealth, and the ability to sell to other players creates a more convincing sense of a living market. Choosing a primary and secondary profession gives your account direction, and players who enjoy resource loops and incremental upgrades will likely spend as much time planning materials and output as they do chasing levels. The downside is that resource acquisition and movement are frequently gated by real-time timers, and while this fits the game’s pacing, it can become frustrating when you want to play longer sessions.
Social and competitive play exists in a structured way, with guild access at level 10 and tournaments at level 15. These systems give the progression curve something to aim at beyond basic leveling, and the faction territory layer adds ongoing stakes. The playerbase is labeled as low, so depending on the time of day and server activity, competition and market availability may feel inconsistent. Finally, the premium currency can speed up waiting and provide advantages that some players will interpret as pay-to-win, particularly if they are trying to compete aggressively rather than play casually.
Overall, Imperial Hero 2 works best as a strategic, routine-friendly RPG with a notable crafting and trading backbone. It is less appealing if you want high agency combat, deep character visuals, or a completely even competitive environment.
