Immune (Game)
Immune is an open-world sandbox survival game set in the aftermath of a global outbreak that brought society to its knees. Survivors fall into two camps: immune player characters who can roam without a mask, and aggressive gas-mask-wearing NPCs who see the unmasked as prey and will open fire immediately.

Immune Overview
Immune places you in a post-pandemic wasteland where structure has vanished and the priorities are clear: keep stocked, keep equipped, and never take the masked NPCs lightly. The core twist is the role you inhabit—you’re among the “immune,” while non-immune groups, portrayed by gas-mask-wearing AI, relentlessly pursue anyone traveling unmasked. This dynamic keeps the usual open-world survival loop tense, even on routine supply runs.
On the ground, the experience mixes scavenging and crafting with base construction. You explore from a top-down perspective with a bright, cartoon-styled look, collecting materials to convert into tools, weapons, and practical equipment. Hunger and thirst are important, making it smart to establish a small farm and sort out storage early on—especially if you plan to push into riskier zones without constant backtracking.
Base building becomes a strong long-term motivator. Rather than wandering endlessly, you can secure an area, upgrade it into a proper base, and install defenses that make it feel like a real safehouse. Vehicles reduce downtime between points of interest and abandoned city areas, which matters because trouble can spike fast if you stumble into the wrong group or draw attention.
Your server selection impacts the flow as well. PvE servers emphasize environmental survival while battling mutants, animals, and the masked NPCs, whereas PvP adds competition from other players over resources and land. Either way, the AI can be unforgiving, and sloppy firefights often end abruptly. Progress is supported through missions and achievements, giving players a sense of direction alongside the sandbox openness.
