Overview

Forged Fantasy Overview

Forged Fantasy is a mobile, instanced action RPG built around short, linear missions that play out like a guided shooter. Your five-hero team advances through each stage automatically, while you handle the important parts, aiming attacks, timing dodges, and firing off character abilities as waves of enemies and boss encounters appear.

The moment-to-moment feel is closest to games like Hero Hunters, where positioning is simplified and the challenge comes from targeting priorities, ability usage, and swapping to the right hero at the right time. You only directly control one character at a time, but switching is fast and frictionless, you just tap another hero’s portrait and immediately take over while the rest of the squad continues acting on their own.

Roster building is a major hook. There are 27+ heroes to unlock, each bringing distinct skills, roles, and elemental alignment. One hero might specialize in fire-based ranged damage (such as an archer with flaming shots), while another leans into nature magic (like a druid-style caster). Element matchups follow a familiar triangle, with water beating fire, fire beating nature, and nature beating water, so team composition matters as stages ramp up.

As you progress, additional modes open up. Raids arrive after you push far enough in the campaign and are offered in easy, medium, and hard tiers. These can be tackled solo or with two-player co-op, either with a friend invite or matchmaking. For competitive play, Forged Fantasy includes real-time PvP with two flavors: a standard free play queue and limited-time tournaments that rotate special rule sets. Some tournaments modify elemental behavior (for example, an Elemental Wars-style format), while others encourage specific lineups by awarding extra points when certain heroes are used (such as Venom + Ungol themed events).

Forged Fantasy Key Features:

  • Co-op Raids – team up with a friend or queue into matchmaking, with easy, medium, and hard difficulty options.
  • Real-Time PvP – fight 1v1 battles in a standard free play mode, plus rotating tournaments with custom rules.
  • 27+ Unlockable Heroes – collect a varied cast, each with their own abilities, upgrade paths, elemental types, and gear.
  • Mid-Battle Hero Switching – swap control between any of your five heroes instantly, while the rest continue acting automatically.
  • Stage Based Progression – advance through a structured campaign of instanced missions that unlock in sequence.
  • Autoplay – enable automated combat for the team, although tougher fights often benefit from manual timing and swaps.
