Cast and Conquer
Cast & Conquer is a mobile-focused card MMO that centers on collecting a massive library of cards and turning them into units on a tactical, lane-based battlefield. Instead of relying on fully automated card clashes, it asks you to think about positioning and matchups across three lanes, which gives each fight more of a strategy-game feel than many lightweight mobile card battlers.

Cast & Conquer Overview
Cast & Conquer is a card-collecting MMO on iOS and Android that stands out by translating decks into a three-lane skirmish, similar in concept to other line-based card battlers like Summoner’s Legion, while also supporting team-oriented multiplayer fights. Matches start with you selecting cards from your hand and committing them to one of the three lanes, trying to answer what the opponent is building and anticipating where pressure will matter most.
Once deployed, cards manifest as 3D characters that advance on their own, trading blows and triggering effects based on their roles and abilities. Your objective is to reduce the enemy avatar’s health to zero, but damage only lands consistently when your units push into range, so controlling space and timing your deployments becomes a major part of winning. Visually and thematically, the presentation leans toward the familiar fantasy card game look popularized by titles like Hearthstone and Magic: The Gathering, which makes it easy to understand for genre fans, even if the lane-based battlefield creates a different kind of decision-making.
Cast & Conquer Key Features:
- Over 1000 Cards – Deck construction has plenty of room to experiment thanks to a pool of over 1000 cards. Extras can be dissolved, and progression systems allow you to empower cards into stronger versions.
- 4 Playable Classes – Choose between four classes (Warrior, Ranger, Mage, Priest), each bringing distinct abilities, including offensive spells like Fireballs or supportive tools such as healing and sustain for your squad.
- Single Player Campaign – A campaign built around a large world map lets you push through encounters for experience and loot, giving structure beyond pure PvP.
- Multiplayer Dungeons – Dungeons can be tackled with friends or matchmaking partners, and they also work as a loot loop while waiting for single-player stamina to recover.
- PvP Arenas – Competitive play mixes offense and defense, letting you set a protective deck to deter raids while also attacking players around your rank to earn Honor and climb.

Development History / Background:
Cast & Conquer was created by Chinese developer R2 Games and distributed worldwide through the Android and iOS app stores. Positioned as a CCG MMO, it arrived during the period when the collectible card game boom accelerated after Hearthstone’s release, aiming to capture that same audience with a mobile-first format and a lane-based combat twist. The Western launch date was March 14, 2014, and the game was made available globally without IP restrictions. R2 Games later released Summoner’s Legion in 2015 as a browser title that followed the direction and ideas established by Cast & Conquer. On May 14, 2018, the game’s Facebook page announced that Cast and Conquer would shut down on June 20, 2018.
