Raid: Shadow Legends is a free-to-play, 3D fantasy, turn-based RPG available on iOS and Android. At its heart, it is a gacha-driven collection game where building a strong account means steadily expanding your roster and investing in a handful of teams that can cover different types of content. With over 300 champions pulled from 16 factions, the game leans heavily into party composition, buff and debuff timing, and long-term progression through gear and upgrades.

Combat plays out in classic turn-based fashion, with each character bringing a basic attack and a set of skills that define their role. You can run battles manually for tighter control over skill usage, or let the AI handle the action with auto play when you are farming. This makes the experience feel similar to other mobile team RPGs in the genre, where the strategic layer is often about preparation, speed tuning, and choosing the right counters rather than moment-to-moment execution.

For PvE, the campaign spans 12 locations and is framed with fully voiced story segments and periodic boss encounters that test whether your team can survive burst damage or maintain consistent sustain. Beyond the campaign, dungeons and limited-time events provide the main chase for stronger equipment and additional champions, pushing players toward optimizing builds for specific fights. On the PvP side, the Arena pits your team against other players’ AI-controlled defenses, rewarding progress with points and useful loot while encouraging you to develop a reliable offensive lineup.
