Chrono Wars
Chrono Wars (also known in some regions as Dark Era, and sometimes referred to as Light of Darkness) is a browser-based 3D MMORPG that leans heavily into flashy visuals and fast, hands-on combat. You play as a Guardian of Chronos, a time-traveling champion tasked with pushing back the Abyss Legion, and most of your time is spent cycling through quest hubs, instanced battles, and progression systems designed for steady character growth. For a web MMO from its era, its presentation is surprisingly ambitious, even if some of its convenience features and monetization choices can feel dated today.
