World of Warplanes First Look
World of Warplanes First Look
After talking with the Wargamming.net developers at PAX Prime about World of Warplanes and getting a little bit of hands on time at GDC Online I picked up a mediocre joystick off of amazon and hopped into the cockpit of my Tier II modified YP-23A with a 7.62 mm M1919-A4 and 12.7 mm BMG1921 machine guns ready to take down some enemy aircraft in my first look. From what I saw in the game Wargamming.net made it their goal to appeal to both the simulator-liking audience as well as the less serious audience that want to pick up the game for fun. The amount of detail the developers put into making the game realistic is unbelievable.
