Ring of Elysium Teams Up With Alienware for E3 Season 4 Reveal
Ring of Elysium has officially announced their Season 4 Adventurer Pass and will be presented at E3 2019 in conjunction with Alienware. The upcoming season pass will add three chapters, that feature new characters, vehicles, terrains and more. The first chapter hits on June 5th and gives players two new seasonal characters – Max and Big Joe. Max is a mechanically obsessed scavenger, and Big Joe was once a robot gladiator, and with a little help from Max, he’s returned to the field of battle. A third character will arrive, alongside a drone in Chapter 2. Chapter 3 will have advanced modified vehicles.
DirectX 12 will be coming in these updates, and new terrains will be added to the Europa map. DirectX 12 will improve graphics and the overall gaming experience, and was developed by Microsoft. With the upgrade to DirectX 12, Season 4 will see areas of the paradise island of Europa shift to a wildland. New areas will be introduced including the Gobi Desert, Red Earth, Loess, Loess Plateau, new mountainous regions as well as a coniferous forest.
There are also going to be a new marking system, which lets players drop markers as a way to interact, with additional ping functions including weapon, equipment, attachments, and many more. This system should help players signal when to take caution, and when to prepare to assault a point. Much of this content will release in the second and third chapters of Season 4. Throughout the E3 exhibit, players will get a glimpse into the features of the three-part release of the newest season in Ring of Elysium. E3 attendees will also have the opportunity to compete during the live-streamed event, which will also feature Ring of Elysium cosplayers.
Players can earn their Season 4 pass now by completing Pinnacle Challenges from now until the end of Season 3 on June 4. The first chapter of the Season 4 Adventurer Pass will launch on June 5, with chapters two and three releasing in the following weeks.
