MMOHuts Weekly Recap #124 Feb 17th – Firefall, League of Legends, Elsword & More!
A quick look and discussion for every major announcement and update during the week! This week we discussed updates from the following games: Star Wars The Old Republic, World of Tanks, Neverwinter, Wildstar, Firefall, Elsword Online, League of Legends, Smite, Warframe, Renaissance, Legend of Edda: Vengeance, & Waren Story
Star Wars The Old Republic released a new update featuring a new in game event called Relics of the Gree and players can now earn Galactic Reputation. Wargaming announced the establishment of Wargaming.net league for World of Tanks and also acquired Gas Powered Games. Neverwinter shows off a new trailer highlighting Mount Hotenow, a new adventure zone with more iconic enemies from D&D. Wildstar shows us the Dominion, the other side of the conflict on Nexus, and a fourth class. Firefall’s founders rewards program is now finished with the final reward introducing integrated twitch broadcasting. Rena is next up in the Elsword transformation series as the Trapping Ranger. League of Legends discusses changes to many champions and items in patch 3.02. Smite introduces Neith, Weaver of Fate, the sexiest goddess so far.
Upcoming games to look at: Warframe is in open beta stress test mode until Tuesday, Feb. 19th. Renaissance Heroes is scheduled to launch, also on Tuesday the 19th. GamesCampus launched the second closed beta for Legend of Edda: Vengeance. Waren Story was dropped by Aeria and picked up by Alt 1 and has reentered closed beta.
