Lineage 2 is a 3D Fantasy MMORPG published by NCSoft – the same company behind Guild Wars, City of Heroes and Aion. The game was originally released back in 2003 in Korea (2004 in U.S.) meaning its a year older than World of Warcraft. Since its release the game has enjoyed numerous major patches and content updates. The game is a sequel to the enormously popular Lineage game and is still one of the most popular MMORPGs in Asia. Like Ragnarok Online though, there are A LOT of private servers for the game. The free trial restrictions include trade and chat restrictions and is 14 days long.
