Fairy Story Online is an animated fantasy MMORPG by the popular Chinese studio Ngames. The game entered open beta testing recently and offers a variety of in-game pets, a marriage system, and all around cutesy visuals. Its certainly not for everyone, but this cinematic trailer shows off the atmosphere of the game. It starts with some kids flying in a giant dragonfly airplane, then pans to a Ferris wheel and the surrounding scenery. Butterflies, a dino-cow, and some weird kids at play are shown next. There are electric cables and pick up trucks driving by, so the setting isn’t exclusively medieval fantasy themed. Fairy Story Online isn’t the only fairy story themed MMORPG, there’s also Fairyland Online but its much older and has turn based combat.
