Webzen Announces C9 Tournament Results
The results of Continent of the Ninth (C9)’s first global championship have been announced by Webzen.
Two teams (“Gears Executor” from North America and “Pony Club” from Europe) battled each other on Wednesday, June 6, for a $10,000 grand prize. The championship title was awarded to “Gears Executor. The event was live-streamed from the show floor at E3.

At an event held on Wednesday, June 6, two teams – North American “Gears Executor” and European “Pony Club” – went head to head for C9 supremacy and a $10,000 grand prize. After a skilled and heated battle, “Gears Executor” bested “Pony Club” to claim the championship title, cash reward and international bragging rights.

In addition to the tournament, WEBZEN live streamed the entire event for fans to catch the action online, and also showcased upcoming online first-person shooter (FPS) game Arctic Combat, unveiling two brand new trailers and handing out special edition dog tag beta keys for
the Taskforce 613 beta test group.
