Robot Entertainment Launches Inaugural Orc Week
Robot Entertainment today announced the kick-off of the inaugural ORC WEEK, a raucous celebration of all things Orcs Must Die! Gamers can get into the orcish spirit with 90% off all Orcs Must Die! games and DLC on Steam from February 23rd to February 28th. For gamers who haven’t played these award-winning action defense games, they’ll never find them for a lower price. This Spring, gamers will be able to keep the green waves rolling when Orcs Must Die! Unchained comes to Steam during Open Beta.
“It’s easy to get confused and think that Robot Entertainment is anti-orc based on our Orcs Must Die! game series,” said Patrick Hudson, CEO of Robot Entertainment. “Too many people forget that Orcs Must Die! employs millions of digital orcs every year. It would be impossible to enjoy comedic amounts of cartoon violence without their tireless service. Orc Week is our way of celebrating orcs and orc giblets everywhere. We plan to be burning, slicing, electrocuting, and melting orcs for many years to come, and we want players to join us in the celebration.”
Gamers may tune into OrcsMustDie.tv every night of the event at 6:30pm CT for gameplay, community Q&A, and sneak peeks at new content. Robot Entertainment encourages fans of the series to broadcast their own Orcs Must Die! classic or Closed Beta gameplay to their own channels, as well.
