A major software update to the Razer Phone 2 to Android 9.0 Pie, which provides operating system enhancements including gesture-based navigation with Google Assistant, interactive app functionality and search, battery life optimization, privacy features including background app controls, access to digital well-being, video recording in 4k at 60fps. Razer also announced that Razer.com will offer the Razer Phone 2 at $499.99 for a limited time (original $799.99 USD MSRP), starting March 1, 2019. The offer will also be available at authorized retailers, while certain carriers honor trade-in programs.
