Netmarble Announces Plan for Global MMORPG Portal

Netmarble, one of the most popular MMORPG publishers in Korea, just announced plans to bring their games to the global audience with an English portal. The first game Netmarble will be launching on their English portal will be ‘Mini Fighter’, a cartoony MMO fighter that closely resembles games like Splash Fighters and Rumble Fighter, but with 2D side scrolling graphics like Nexon’s Sugar Rush. The closed beta for ‘Mini Fighter’ will officially launch on July 23, but players will be able to sign up for beta keys starting on July 20th on the official website over at http://global.netmarble.com/minifighter/ . The folks over at Netmarble plan to bring all of their games to their new global portal over time, so don’t forget to keep checking back. Aside from Mini Fighter, Netmarble publishes Korea’s #1 MMOFPS cane ‘Sudden Attack’, a baseball MMO called MaguMagu, an MMORPG called PRIUS and lastly Ys Online. I don’t know about you guys, but I always get excited when a new big game publisher opens up. Hopefully we won’t need to wait too long Netmarble to launch all of their games in English.

In addition, the first title to be featured on Netmarble.com, online action game Mini Fighter, will be launched as a Closed Beta next week on July 23. The Mini Fighter client will be available to download starting July 20.
