The best League of Legends teams in North America are competing Thursday through Sunday for a chance at their share of a $150,000 prize pool during the Season 2 NA Regionals at PAX. The first matches are already underway, and can be streamed here: http://tournaments.
The top three teams will represent North America in the League of Legends World Championship in October, with a chance at their share of $2,000,000 in prize money. Additionally, those three teams will receive guaranteed placement in the League of Legends Championship Series, the Riot-organized pro league starting in Season 3, with salaried teams, weekly regular season matches, and more.
On October 13, 2012, Riot Games will host the thrilling conclusion of our $5 million season in Los Angeles, California. With half of Season Two already in the books and numerous viewership records broken, the best players from North America, Europe, China, Korea and the Rest of Asia are all preparing for the Regional Finals.
