Heroes of Newerth celebrates 100th hero
S2 Games is celebrating the release of its 100th hero in Heroes of Newerth on Friday, March 2.
The new hero is a telekinetic warrior named Kinesis.
In celebration, S2 Games is holding a daily drawing giveaway, giving away one thousand $10 prize packages of in-game currency each weekday, and one-thousand $50 prize packages this coming weekend. Becoming eligible only requires logging in and winning a game of matchmaking. A grand prize of 100,000 Gold Goblin Coins will be given away to a player who wins at least one match every day throughout the week. Promotional copies of Kinesis will also be given away through Facebook and Twitter.
After Kinesis’ release, a special S2 vs. Community event will be held, letting players go head to head in exhibition matches against the S2 Games staff. Every time the community wins a game, everyone who played a game that day has a chance to win an account symbol, silver coins, and a new Alternate Avatar. Double Silver Coin matchmaking and large sale prices on non-Early Access heroes will also be available for players to enjoy.
