Black Desert Online’s Back to School Event Begins Today

The “Back to School” event in Black Desert Online starts today, and it is packed to the gills with rewards, extra Pearls, sales coupons and much more. The Lauren Family Coin event also returns, which can also spell amazing items for dedicated players. During this event, Pearl Box Packages in the Pearl Shop will give additional value for each purchase. Players can receive up to 2,000 extra pearls, bonus items or value packages(Books of Combat, Blessings of Kamasylve) depending on what is purchased. The Pearl Box Bonus event lasts from August 30 2017 (post-maintenance) until September 6 2017 at 9:00 UTC. More info can be found below.

The Lauren Family Coin event is starting as well, where players can earn Lauren FamilY Gift Boxes that net very special items, like boss gear/weapons. Ten coins will be awarded for playing Black Desert Online for one hour and can be done up to five times a day or five consecutive hours to gain a cap of 50 coins a day. The general goods vendor in any large city will trade a gift box for 30 coins.

To celebrate the new Savage Rift co-op survival challenge, adventurers who successfully complete 25 waves of the Savage Rift will be rewarded with special items such as GM’s Lucky Box, Black Stone, Superior Whale Tendon Potion, Sharp/Hard Black Crystal Shard, Advice of Valks, and more. If that weren’t enough, there’s a higher chance to obtain highly sought-after items. The drop rates of Black Stones, Sharp/Hard Crystal Shards, and Ancient Relic Crystal Shards will be increased for two weeks to reward players who are dedicated to playing!
