Marathon is a sci-fi extraction shooter, a revived IP from Bungie, the creators of the Destiny series. It is being developed for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
Little has been revealed so far about Marathon, other than it will focus on PvP with solo and three-player team options. Players will become “Runners,” cybernetic mercenaries exploring and surviving the harsh environments of planet Tau Ceti IV.
