Webzen was founded in 2000 and released their first title, Mu Online, in 2003. Mu was widely successful across Asia and continues to be developed today. After years of cooperation with NHN, it was announced on April 2010 that Webzen and the gaming division of NHN would be merged. The merger will take place on July 7, 2010.
