OGPlanet has subsidiaries in Vancouver, Canada and Seoul, South Korea. The company was founded in 2004 and their first game was Albatross18. Albatross18 is actually Pangya, just with a different name. The company raised over $1.5 million in venture capital from gaming and media executives back in 2006 and additional funding from DFJ Athena in 2008. Key investors in OGPlanet include Richard Wolpert (Former president of Disney Online), Mark Surfas (Founder of GameSpy), and various other high profile individuals.
